Beloved husband, brother, cousin, godfather, colleague and friend
Whatever we called him, we all loved him dearly and miss him terribly. We will never forget his kindness, compassion, optimism, generosity, intelligence and humour, and the way he lit up a room and turned even the smallest gathering into a party. He touched the lives of hundreds of people. Alex's life was full to the brim with love for his family, friends, colleagues and patients, and that love is now reflected back to him.

Dr mac the loveliest man anyone could meet, so laid back. We has a family got to know him when he looked after our dad at church farm nursing home from September 2013 to October 2018 he was such a great gp and friend to everyone. Always made you feel at ease even in difficult times. Rest in peace Dr Mac. Your loss will be felt by so many.Our thoughts are with your family from ours! The family of John W North x
